Coverage
Required pipeline versus available pipeline, and the ratio between them. Thin coverage is the plan asking the funnel for more than it has.
Divergences
Where the goal and the funnel disagree — coverage, capacity, stage concentration — ranked by severity.
Adjustment slots
What to change to close the gap, before the quarter starts rather than in week six.
The terms it uses
- Coverage ratio
- Available pipeline ÷ the pipeline the goal requires. Low coverage means the plan depends on deals that do not exist yet.
- Reality gate
- Fires when the pipeline cannot carry the goal — the number gets flagged, not silently accepted.
- Divergence
- Any place the plan and the funnel tell different stories — usually coverage, capacity, or stage mix.
